Has It Been One Month Already!? (2/25)
Aside from a few days ago: I love hearing Biffy Clyro in random places/good music on the radio in places like the post office and corner convenience store. England’s taste in music > the USA, but that’s obvious
- Woke up at 7:30 AM and laughed
- Proceeded to sleep in until 11:50 AM
- Did laundry
- Did homework/read most of The Winter’s Tale (Shakespeare)
- Made matzo ball soup for Erica/the flat since she really wanted it (and I had a craving anyway even though I had leftovers)
- The dough that was meant to be used to make Hamentashen still did not formulate properly to be made into so (even after an entire night/practically all day of leaving the dough in the fridge) so it was instead turned into sugar ball cookies per Molly’s suggestion
- They actually taste great - I just wish it could’ve been Hamentashen :(
- Hanging out with flatmates
- Started watching Dead Poet’s Society - so far it’s a great movie!
- I have to finish it sigh
- Bed
CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S BEEN A MONTH SINCE I’VE BEEN HERE!!!!

Kosher. Chinese. Food. (2/24)
- Chag Purim Sameach!!!
- Ran to Sainsbury’s to get ingredients to make Hamentashen and to get things for Molly’s Mishloach Manot
- Erica came home from church with chocolate croissants - this girl I mean REALLY <3
- Then it was off to get ready for shul and the feast thereafter
- Daniel Cohen accompanied me to Chabad, where we heard the fastest megillah reading of our LIVES (16 1/2 minutes!!!)
- We then met up with people we met the last time we went to Chabad and had the amazing chinese food
- I would’ve enjoyed it more and would’ve gotten alcohol had I not been nauseas - THANKS BODY.
- Home
- Attempted to make Hamentashen, but the dough wasn’t shaping the way it is supposed to - so it is now in the fridge waiting to be cooked later today
- Flatmates sans Amanda and Anna (who are in Amsterdam) hangouts
- Bed
